Proclamation No. 2265, issued on February 8, 1983, extends the nationwide fund drive of the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Foundation, Inc. to December 31, 1983, following an initial campaign period from January 1 to December 31, 1982. President Ferdinand E. Marcos encourages all citizens to contribute generously to support the Foundation's humanitarian goals. Additionally, all donations made to the Foundation are exempt from taxes and can be fully deducted for income tax purposes. This proclamation reinforces the government's support for the Foundation's efforts.

EXTENDING THE NATIONWIDE FUND DRIVE OF THE DR. JOSE P. RIZAL MEMORIAL FOUNDATION, (PHIL.) INC. TO DECEMBER 31, 1983
WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 2153 dated January 9, 1982, authorized the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Foundation, (Phil.) Inc. to conduct a nationwide fund drive during the period from January 1 to December 31, 1982; and
WHEREAS, said Foundation needs more time to achieve its fund campaign goals. casia
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the fund campaign of the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Foundation, (Phil.) Inc. to December 31, 1983.
I hereby enjoin all citizens and residents of this country to give generously of their means to enable the Foundation to succeed in all its humanitarian endeavors.
All donations or contributions to the Foundation shall be exempted from all forms of taxes and shall constitute allowable deductions in full for income tax purposes.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
