Proclamation No. 2478, issued on January 22, 1986, by President Ferdinand E. Marcos, excludes certain parcels of land in Barangay Lamao, Limay, Bataan from the restrictions of Proclamations Nos. 361 and 630, which reserved them for industrial purposes. These lands, originally designated as open for disposition under Proclamation No. 322 in 1956, are now declared open for sale or settlement, promoting equitable property ownership in line with social justice principles. The only exception is the land occupied by the Philippine National Oil Company-Shipping and Transport Corporation's field terminal. This move aligns with the administration's goal of making alienable and disposable lands accessible for public use.
