Designations as Acting Presiding or Assisting Judges in Stations Outside Their Respective Judicial Regions
OCA Circular No. 213-2019, issued on November 11, 2019, revokes all designations of Acting Presiding or Assisting Judges in stations outside their judicial regions, effective November 18, 2019. This action follows a memorandum from Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta and is in line with existing policies. Extensions for these designations may still be granted upon request and recommendation from the Court Administrator. In the absence of extensions, judges from the same station or region are expected to handle urgent matters in the vacant branches.

OCA CIRCULAR NO. 213-2019

| RE | : | Designations as Acting Presiding or Assisting Judges in Stations Outside Their Respective Judicial Regions |
In compliance with the Memorandum dated 8 November 2019 of the Honorable Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta addressed to the Court Administrator and Deputy Court Administrators, and pursuant to existing policies, all designations as Acting Presiding Judges and as Assisting Judges in stations outside their respective judicial regions are hereby REVOKED effective 18 November 2019, unless their designations have in the meantime been extended by the Honorable Chief Justice Peralta upon their request and/or the recommendation of the Court Administrator.
In branches where no extension of the designations has been made, pairing judges and assisting judges from the same station or judicial region, if any, are expected to act on urgent matters in the said vacant branches.
