PROCLAMATION NO. 1988

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING WHICH STANDS ON TWO PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED AT CORNERS AVANCEÑA AND LOCSIN STREETS, BARANGAY NORTH SAN JOSE, ILOILO CITY AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916 AS AMENDED BY REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8748

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act No. 7916, otherwise known as the Special Economic Zone Act of 1995 as amended by Republic Act No. 8748 and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate, subject to the provisions of Republic Act No. 7916 as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, Resolution No. 00-411 dated 29 December 2000 and Resolution No. 08-386 dated 31 July 2008 of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority, the Iloilo Commercial Development Corporation Building as an Information Technology Center which stands on two parcels of land of the private domain located at corners Avanceña and Locsin Streets, Barangay North San Jose, Iloilo City, Province of Iloilo, containing an aggregate area of One Thousand Three Hundred Eighty (1,380) Square Meters, more or less, as defined by the following technical description: ISDCHA

"Lot 1461

A parcel of land (Lot 1461 of the Cadastral Survey of Iloilo), with the improvements thereon, situated in the Municipality of Iloilo.

Bounded on the NE., by Calle Antigua; on the SE., by Lot No. 1462; on the SW., by Lot No. 1460 and on the NW., by Calle San Jose.

Beginning at a point marked '1' on plan, being N., 30 deg. 33' W., 178.97 m. from BLLM. No. 1, Mole;

thence N. 26 deg. 50' W., 24.90 m. to point 2;

thence N. 61 deg. 23' E., 19.29 m. to point 3;

thence S. 26 deg. 31' E., 25.05 m. to point 4;

thence N. 61 deg. 50' W., 20.02 m. to point of

beginning; containing an area of Four Hundred Ninety One (491) Square Meters, more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan, bearings true; declination 1 deg. 40' E., date of survey, November 1911 to June 1912.

Bounded on the NE., by Lots Nos. 1461 and 1460-B of the subdivision plan; on the SE., by Lot No. 1460-B of the subdivision plan on the SW., by Lot No. 1457; on the Calle San Jose.

Beginning at a point marked '1' on plan, being W. 38 deg. 00' W., 202.43 m. from BLLM No. 1, Municipality of Iloilo.
