A.M. No. 11-9-1-SC
NOTICE
Sirs/Mesdames :
Please take notice that the Court en banc issued a Resolution dated October 4, 2011, which reads as follows:
"A.M. No. 11-9-1-SC (Re: Demolition of the Records Control Building at the SC Old Compound). — The Court Resolved, upon the recommendation of Atty. Enriqueta E. Vidal, Clerk of Court En Banc, to:
(a) GRANT the request of the Supreme Court Savings and Loan Association, Inc. (SCSLAI) to relocate inside the SC Compound during the construction of the proposed building at the SC Old Compound;
(b) AUTHORIZE the SCSLAI to temporarily use the following office spaces:
(i) SPPED-Technical Office of the Management Information Systems located at the ground level of the Old Supreme Court Building, subject to the following conditions: IHEaAc
(1) Repairs/renovation of the space allotted to the SCSLAI shall be at SCSLAI's own expense and no Court funds shall be used for said purpose;
(2) The SCSLAI shall be responsible for the re-configuration of the conference room which will serve as the receiving office of the SPPED-Technical Office;
(3) The maximum number of staff to be assigned thereat shall not exceed five (5);
(4) The ingress/egress of the SPPED-Technical Office will not be obstructed;
(5) The number of members transacting inside the premises of the SCSLAI temporary satellite office will not exceed five (5) at one given time;
(6) The MISO will not be responsible for any loss/damage in the property of the SCSLAI;
(7) Access of members and staff of the SCSLAI will be limited to the space allotted to them; and
(8) The SCSLAI will be responsible for the security within its premises; aCIHAD
(ii) Mezzanine Office of the Presidential Electoral Tribunal located at the SC-CA Multi-Purpose Building, provided, however, that it will vacate the same once the PET will need the office space for its purpose;
(c) APPROVE the construction of the proposed five-storey building at the Old SC Compound and the allocation of the office spaces thereat as per the Memorandum dated August 24, 2011 of the Office of Administrative Services, subject to the condition that the SCSLAI shall assume all expenses/costs relative to the interior fit out for its office space in close coordination with the Maintenance Division of the Court;
(d) NOTE the Petition to Support the Relocation of SCSLAI Office within the Supreme Court Premises, filed by the Supreme Court Employees Association (SCEA) and the SCSLAI members, taking into consideration the security of its members in conducting business with the SCSLAI as well as for the convenience in the processing of loan applications; and
(e) REFER this matter to Deputy Court Administrator RAUL VILLANUEVA, Chairperson, Bids and Awards Committee for Consultancy Projects, for the preparation of the Detailed Architectural and Engineering Design of the proposed building prior to its referral to the Bids and Awards Committee for Infrastructure Projects."
