PROCLAMATION NO. 1925
DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 4 TO 7, 2009 AS "ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING WEEK"
WHEREAS, the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE), will hold its 34th Annual National Convention on November 4 to 7, 2009; ISCaTE
WHEREAS, there is a need to focus national attention on the importance of the electrical engineering profession and highlight its role in nation building.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 4 to 7, 2009 as "Electrical Engineering Week", under the auspices of the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc.
I call upon all electrical engineers and students to give the observance of the week their full support.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 23rd day of October, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Nine.
