PROCLAMATION NO. 2113

DECLARING SEPTEMBER 5 AS GENERAL SANTOS CITY DAY

WHEREAS, Saturday, September 5, 1981, marks the 13th charter anniversary of General Santos City; and

WHEREAS, the residents of that city should be given the opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city's history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare every September 5 as General Santos City Day but the said day shall be a working day in accordance with Letter of Instructions No. 1087 dated November 26, 1980.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
