PROCLAMATION NO. 2452
DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1985, AS "GENERAL SANTOS CITY DAY"
WHEREAS, Thursday, September 5, 1985, marks the 18th Foundation Day of the City of General Santos; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the City of General Santos should be afforded the opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, September, 5, 1985, as "General Santos City Day". The day, however, shall be a regular working and school day.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed. cd
