DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24, 2008, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BENGUET
WHEREAS, Sunday, November 23, 2008, marks the Foundation Day anniversary of the Province of Benguet;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of La Union celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Governor requested that Monday, November 24, 2008 be declared as a special non-working day instead of November 23, 2008, which falls on a Sunday; CcHDSA
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Benguet, be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, November 24, 2008, as special (non-working) day in the Province of Benguet.
