Proclamation No. 1661, issued on November 7, 2008, declares Friday, November 14, 2008, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Pangasinan. The change to November 14 allows residents to celebrate the occasion more fully and aligns with the holiday-economics policy. The proclamation was made by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita under the authority of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
