DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7, 2004, AS SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN ZAMBOANGA CITY
WHEREAS, the death of Mayor Maria Clara Lobregat is a great loss to the people of Zamboanga City and has caused deep sorrow among them; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Zamboanga City be given the chance to pay their last respect to the late mayor.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALBERTO G. ROMULO, Executive Secretary, by order of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Wednesday, January 7, 2004, as special holiday in Zamboanga City.
