Proclamation No. 1949, issued on November 25, 2009, declares November 27, 2009, as a special non-working day in the Province of Sarangani. This declaration is made in recognition of the province's 17th Foundation Day anniversary and the 7th Mulato Festival, which are being celebrated from November 23 to 28, 2009. The Sangguniang Panlalawigan requested this day off to allow the residents to partake in the festivities. The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, under the authority of then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

DECLARING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SARANGANI

WHEREAS, the Province of Sarangani will celebrate its 17th Foundation Day anniversary and 7th Mulato Festival on November 23 to 28, 2009; IDTcHa

WHEREAS, in order to give the people of the Province of Sarangani, the opportunity to celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlalawigan requested that November 27, 2009 be declared as special non-working day.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, November 27, 2009 as special (non-working) day in the Province of Sarangani.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
