Proclamation No. 1745, issued on March 20, 2009, declares March 27, 2009, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Las Piñas. This day marks the Foundation Day anniversary and the 12th year of cityhood for Las Piñas, allowing its residents to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies. The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, by the authority of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. DECLARING FRIDAY, MARCH 27, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LAS PIÑAS
WHEREAS, Friday, March 27, 2009, marks the Foundation Day anniversary and the 12th year of cityhood of the City of Las Piñas; cDAISC
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Las Piñas be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Friday, March 27, 2009 as special (non-working) day in the City of Las Piñas.
