DECLARING TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31, 1974, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY
WHEREAS, the thirtieth day (Monday) of December 1974, and the first day (Wednesday) of January 1975, being holidays, the thirty-first day (Tuesday) of December 1974, may be declared a special public holiday to enable the people to enjoy an uninterrupted year-end holiday without prejudice to the public interests;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby proclaim Tuesday, December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and seventy-four, as a special public holiday.
