PROCLAMATION NO. 2142
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1981, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ANTIQUE
WHEREAS, Wednesday, December 9, 1981, marks the Quadricentennial Anniversary of Christianity in the province of Antique; and
WHEREAS, the people of Antique should be given full opportunity to celebrate this religious milestone;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday December 9, 1981, as a special public holiday in the province of Antique.
