PROCLAMATION NO. 1342-A

DECLARING MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1974, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND TAGBILARAN CITY

WHEREAS, Monday, November 4, 1974, marks the 78th birth anniversary of the late Carlos P. Garcia, former President of the Philippines, first President of the 1971 Constitutional Convention and one of the outstanding leaders of this country; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bohol, his birthplace, should be given full opportunity to pay homage to one of their province's greatest sons;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, November 4, 1974, as a special public holiday in the Province of Bohol and Tagbilaran City.
