PROCLAMATION NO. 677
DECLARING 24 FEBRUARY 2019 AS A DAY OF NATIONAL MOURNING
WHEREAS, the passing of renowned National Artist for Architecture Francisco "Bobby" Mañosa is a great loss to our nation;
WHEREAS, his passion and dedication for the arts shall always be an inspiration to the Filipino people; and
WHEREAS, the nation is in solidarity with and joins in the grieving of his family and friends;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution and laws, do hereby proclaim 24 February 2019 as a day of national mourning for National Artist Francisco "Bobby" Mañosa.
I instruct all government offices, schools and educational institutions, and military installations in the Philippines to lower the Philippine flag to half-mast on 24 February 2019.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
