PROCLAMATION NO. 1242
DECLARING MONDAY, 15 NOVEMBER 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BORONGAN, PROVINCE OF EASTERN SAMAR
WHEREAS, on 15 November 2021, Monday, the City of Borongan, Province of Eastern Samar, will mark the celebration of the birth anniversary of Eugenio S. Daza;
WHEREAS, Eugenio S. Daza, a native of Borongan, Eastern Samar, was the overall commander of the revolutionary forces in Eastern Samar and represented the Third District of Samar in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1909; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Borongan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 15 November 2021, a special (non-working) day in the City of Borongan, Province of Eastern Samar.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 3rd day of November, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty-One.
