Creation of a Committee for the Bidding, Award, etc. for the Procurement of Agricultural Chemicals

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 34-A
CREATING A COMMITTEE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THE BIDDING AND AWARD, AND/OR ENTER INTO NEGOTIATED CONTRACTS, FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF FERTILIZERS AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL CHEMICALS ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT AND GOVERNMENT-OWNED OR CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby create a Committee to take charge of the bidding and award, and/or enter into negotiated contracts, for the procurement of fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides, rodenticides, and other agricultural chemicals for and in behalf of the Government and government-owned or controlled corporations. The Committee shall take note of the specific needs of the Government and government-owned or controlled corporations and shall conduct the bidding and make awards or enter into negotiated contracts, on the basis thereof, all in accordance with applicable law, rules and regulations.
The Committee may call upon any department, bureau, office, agency or instrumentality of the Government for such assistance as it may need in the performance of its work.
The Committee shall submit to the President a report of its activities and accomplishments at the soonest time possible.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 16th day of February, in the year of Our Lord, Nineteen Hundred and Sixty-Seven.
