PROCLAMATION NO. 1379

CREATING AND DESIGNATING A BUILDING AND THE PARCELS OF LAND UPON WHICH IT STANDS, LOCATED IN BARANGAY LAHUG, CEBU CITY, AS AN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CENTER, PURSUANT TO REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7916, AS AMENDED

Pursuant to the powers vested in me under Republic Act (RA) No. 7916, otherwise known as the "Special Economic Zone Act of 1995," as amended, and upon the recommendation of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), I, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, President of the Republic of the Philippines, do hereby create and designate a building located in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City with a gross floor area of One Hundred Eight Thousand Five Hundred Four square meters (108,504 m²), as a Special Economic Zone (Information Technology Center) to be known as Cebu Exchange, subject to the provisions of RA No. 7916, as amended, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, PEZA Board of Directors Resolution No. 00-411 (s. 2000), as amended by Resolution Nos. 11-006 (s. 2011), 15-240 (s. 2015) and 17-472 (s. 2017), and Resolution No. 16-726 (s. 2016), and the parcels of land where the building stands, with an area of Eight Thousand Four Hundred Forty square meters (8,440 m²), more or less, as defined by the following technical description:

Lot 2

A parcel of land (Lot 2 of the consolidation-subdivision plan Pcs-4471, being a portion of the consolidation of Lots 918 and 919 of Banilad Estate LRC Record No. 5988) situated in the City of Cebu.

Bounded on the SE., along line 1-2 by Lot 1 of the consolidation and subdivision plan; on the SW., along line 2-3 by Lot 913; on the NW., along line 3-4 by Lot 920, both of the Banilad Estate. On the NE., along line 4-1 by Lot 1542 of Banilad Estate.

Beginning at a point marked "1" on the plan, being N. 41 deg. 02' E., 1,023.86 m. from Monument No. 5, Banilad Estate:

thence S. 25 deg. 55' W., 113.49 m. to point 2;

thence N. 64 deg. 45' W., 45.65 m. to point 3;

thence N. 25 deg. 12' E., 116.90 m. to point 4;

thence S. 60 deg. 34' E., 47.25 m. to point of

beginning, containing an area of Five Thousand Three Hundred Forty-Three square meters (5,343 m²), more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground as follows: points 1 and 2 by PS Cyl. Conc. Mons. Bearings True; and the rest by old P.L.S. Cyl. Conc. Mons; date of original survey August 1906-July 1907 and that of the consolidation and subdivision survey, 28 October 1957.

Lot 920

A parcel of land (Lot 920, Banilad Estate) situated in the City of Cebu, Island of Cebu.

Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2 by Road; on the SE., along line 2-3 by Lot 919; on the SW., along line 3-4 by Lot 913; and on the NW., along line 4-1 by Lot 921, all Banilad Estate.

Beginning at a point marked "1" on the plan, being S. 54 deg. 50' W., 917.90 m. from Monument No. 4, Banilad Estate:

thence S. 59 deg. 16' E., 25.80 m. to point 2;

thence S. 25 deg. 12' W., 116.90 m. to point 3;

thence N. 63 deg. 26' W., 26.80 m. to point 4;

thence N. 25 deg. 45' E., 118.80 m. to point of

beginning, containing an area of Three Thousand Ninety-Seven square meters (3,097 m²), more or less. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground by old points; Bearings True; Date of cadastral survey August 1906-July 1907.
