Conversion of Anilao Municipal High School in Anilao, Iloilo Into a National High School

Batas Pambansa Blg. 194, enacted on March 16, 1982, converts the Anilao Municipal High School in Iloilo into a national high school, now named Anilao National High School. The law allocates an initial funding of two hundred thousand pesos for the school's operation, which will be sourced from the budget intended for new national schools. Additionally, the local government is required to contribute to the school's operational costs. Future funding for the school's maintenance will be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The law took effect upon its approval.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 194

AN ACT CONVERTING THE ANILAO MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ANILAO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE ANILAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The Anilao Municipal High School in the Municipality of Anilao, Province of Iloilo, is converted into a national high school, to be known as the Anilao National High School.

SECTION 2. The amount of two hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 80 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. acd

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
