An Act Converting Kapatagan High School Annex of Barangay Kapatagan, Municipality of Laac, Compostela Valley Province, into Kapatagan National High School and Providing Appropriate Funds Therefor
Republic Act No. 8926, enacted on August 22, 2000, converts the Kapatagan High School Annex in Barangay Kapatagan, Laac, Compostela Valley Province, into Kapatagan National High School. This new institution will operate under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS). Funding for the school's conversion will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the following year and beyond. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on March 19, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8926
AN ACT CONVERTING KAPATAGAN HIGH SCHOOL ANNEX OF BARANGAY KAPATAGAN, MUNICIPALITY OF LAAC, COMPOSTELA VALLEY PROVINCE, INTO KAPATAGAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND PROVIDING APPROPRIATE FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Kapatagan High School Annex of Barangay Kapatagan, Municipality of Laac, Compostela Valley Province shall be converted into and known as the Kapatagan National High School under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS).
SECTION 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. SHADcT
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
