Amendment to R.A. No. 9094 Re: "Araw ng Camiguin"
Republic Act No. 9204 amends Republic Act No. 9094, which previously designated January 7 as a special working public holiday in Camiguin. The amendment reclassifies January 7 as a special non-working holiday to commemorate the province's charter day anniversary. This change emphasizes the significance of the day for local celebrations while altering its status from working to non-working. The act took effect upon its approval and was officially published on July 21, 2003.
