CHED MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 019-11

In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act (RA) No. 7722 otherwise known as the "Higher Education Act of 1994;" the National Agriculture and Fisheries Education System (NAFES) Policies, Plans and Implementing Guidelines and by virtue of Resolution Number 159-2011 per Commission En Banc meeting dated July 11, 2011, the Commission hereby amends the provisions of Section D, item 4 of CMO No. 31, Series of 2009 which states that: ACcHIa
"Section D, item 4. Realignment of Funds
Realignment of fund shall be approved at the school level. However, realignments should be in harmony with the roles of the NUCA, NUCF, PIA or PIF. The school shall inform the OPS, CHED of any realignments made."

Section D, item 4. Realignment of Funds
There shall be no realignment of funds. National Universities and Colleges of Agriculture and Fisheries (NUCAFs) and Provincial Institutes of Agriculture and Fisheries (PIAFs) are enjoined to thoroughly prepare their project proposals and work and financial plans since realignment of funds shall not be allowed. All unexpended funds shall be returned to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) after the implementation has been terminated.
