OCA CIRCULAR NO. 7-14
| TO | : | All Judges, Regional Trial Courts |
| All Judges, First Level Courts (MTC, MeTC, MTCC, MCTC) | ||
| SUBJECT | : | Accomplishment and Submission of Caseload Data |
The Supreme Court of the Philippines, in partnership with The Asia Foundation (TAF), with assistance of the United States Agency of International Development (USAID), through the American Bar Association (ABA) is conducting a study of the case carrying capacity of Lower Court Judges, to enable the Supreme Court to assess the needs of the courts and judges based on estimations of a reasonable caseload for judges.
One of the essential components of the study is a review of the level and mix of cases that enter the first and second level courts. These data together with a survey of the tasks of judges and task processing time will be essential factors that will enable the projection of caseload and case mix and therefore the reasonable case carrying capacities of judges.
For this purpose, all lower court judges are hereby directed to accomplish the attached form in accordance with the guidelines contained in each form.
All accomplished forms shall be submitted not later than 30 January 2014 to any of the following addresses provided by the Asia Foundation:
