| SUBJECT | : | Submission of Data Regarding Violation of R.A. 6425 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972, As Amended) and R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) |
In his letter dated December 10, 2008, Undersecretary Clarence Paul Oaminal, Vice-Chairman, Dangerous Drugs Board, requests that the board be provided with the following: IAEcaH
1.) A nationwide list of cases involving persons already convicted under R.A. 6425 (Dangerous Drugs Act of 1972, as amended) and R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002);
2.) A nationwide list of convicted detainees who may have been issued mittimus for transfer to national penitentiaries.
The data will be needed in the formulation of appropriate national policies that will address the dynamics of the drug threat in the country and to monitor the transfer of convicted prisoners to the national penitentiaries.
In this connection, you are hereby directed to submit to the Office of the Court Administrator thru the Court Management Office, the data regarding violation of R.A. 6425 and R.A. 9165 filed in your court from June 2001 to the present.
Submission of compliance should be made within thirty (30) days from notice using the attached form. STcAIa
