Transferring to the PTA Certain Parcels of Land in Ifugao, Mt. Province and Baguio City

PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1172

TRANSFERRING AND CONVEYING TO THE PHILIPPINE TOURISM AUTHORITY CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE DOMAIN OF THE GOVERNMENT LOCATED IN BANAUE, IFUGAO PROVINCE, BAUCO, MT. PROVINCE AND BAGUIO CITY FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT PURPOSES

By virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, hereby transfer and cede to the Philippine Tourism Authority for tourism development purposes certain parcels of land of the public and private domain of the government located in Banaue, Ifugao, Bauco, Mt. Province and Baguio City which parcels of land are more particularly described as follows:

I. Banaue

"A parcel of land situated in Banaue, Ifugao, beginning at point 1, which is S.20º 58'E. 868.94 m. from BLLM 1, Banaue, Ifugao;

thence N. 80º 35'E.,	86.32 m. to pt. 2;
thence S. 16º 47'E.,	156.57 m. to pt. 3;
thence S. 2º 06'E.,	159.67 m. to pt. 4;
thence N. 70º 34'W.,	56.64 m. to pt. 5;
thence N. 42º 06'W.,	43.16 m. to pt. 6;
thence N. 2º 02'W.,	250.40 m. to point

of beginning containing 28,908 square meters.

II. Bauco

"A portion consisting of 9.19 hectares of the Mt. Data National Park, located in the Sitio of Halsema Mountain Road, Sub-Province of Bontoc, Mt. Province, and technically described as follows:

All laws, proclamations, executive orders inconsistent herewith are hereby revoked or amended accordingly.

The Philippine tourism Authority may not alienate the said parcels of land or any portion thereof without the prior approval of the President of the Philippines, although it may encumber the same to any government financing institution for development purposes.

This Decree shall take effect immediately.
