Republic Act No. 961, enacted on June 20, 1953, amends the appropriations for public works projects in Batangas. It increases funding for the repair of two Parents-Teachers Association school buildings in Nasugbu while eliminating two other project items. Specifically, the appropriations for the Mapalad-na-bato and Bulihan school buildings are set at P1,000 each. The Act takes effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette in September 1953.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 961

AN ACT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN APPROPRIATIONS FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS UNDER THE HEADING "BATANGAS," SUBSECTION (a), TITLE "A. MISCELLANEOUS," SECTION ONE OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY

SECTION 1. Sub-heading "Other Public Works Projects," under the heading "Batangas," subsection (a), Title "A. Miscellaneous," section one of Republic Act Numbered Six hundred seventy, is amended by increasing the appropriation for items numbers fourteen and twenty-three and eliminating items seventeen and twenty-one.
