Transfer of Barrio Zarragoza in Batad, Iloilo to Balasan, Iloilo
Republic Act No. 558, enacted on June 17, 1950, facilitates the transfer of the barrio of Zarragoza from the municipality of Batad to the municipality of Balasan, both located in the Province of Iloilo. The law officially reassigns the territorial jurisdiction of Zarragoza to Balasan. This Act took effect immediately upon its approval. It was subsequently published in the Official Gazette in November 1950.

AN ACT TO TRANSFER A CERTAIN BARRIO FROM THE TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF BATAD, PROVINCE OF ILOILO TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALASAN, SAME PROVINCE
SECTION 1. The barrio of Zarragoza, in the municipality of Batad, Province of Iloilo, is transferred from said municipality to that of the municipality of Balasan, Province of Iloilo. cd i
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
