Republic Act No. 8781, enacted on April 27, 2000, establishes the Batad National High School in Batad, Iloilo. The Act mandates the Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports to issue necessary rules and regulations for its implementation. Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act in the year following its enactment and thereafter. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8781
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BATAD, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BATAD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established a national high school in the Municipality of Batad, Province of Iloilo, to be known as the Batad National High School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
