LEB MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 04-16
| SUBJECT | : | Supplemental to LEB Memorandum Order No. 3, Series of 2016, Entitled Policies, Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Law Schools to Offer and Operate Refresher Courses |
In accordance with the pertinent provisions of Republic Act No. 7662, otherwise known as the Legal Education Reform Act of 1993, and by virtue of LEB Resolution No. SBM-2016-41 adopted on July 13, 2016, the following additional policies, standards and guidelines are hereby promulgated to supplement LEB Memorandum Order No. 3, Series of 2016 (Policies, Standards and Guidelines for the Accreditation of Law Schools to Offer and Operate Refresher Courses):
1. Bar Examinations Passing Rate — In the determination of the latest three (3) years bar examinations passing rates of law schools, the recently released 2015 Bar Examinations Statistical Data may be included and considered for purposes favorable to an applicant law school; and
2. Application period — For purposes of Academic/School Year 2016-2017 only, qualified law schools shall be given until August 15, 2016 to file its applications for Special Government Permits to offer and operate Refresher Courses.
This LEBMO shall be effective immediately upon its publication in a newspaper of general circulation. DHITCc
