SRA ORDER NO. 006, S. 2017-2018
| SUBJECT | : | Amendment to Sugar Order No. 3, Series of 2016-2017 Re: Guidelines on the Issuance of Clearance for Release of Imported High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) and Chemically Pure Fructose |
WHEREAS, there is a need to amend certain provisions of Sugar Order No. 3, Series of 2016-2017 to effect the warehousing of the imported Fructose classified as either "B" or for Domestic Market, "C" for Reserved, or "D" for World Market.
NOW, THEREFORE, under and by virtue of the authority vested in the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), it is hereby ordered that:
SECTION 1. Sections 3.1 and 3.2 of Sugar Order No. 3, Series of 2016-2017 are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 3.1. If the classification is "C" for Reserved, the imported Fructose may be withdrawn from the Bureau of Customs (BOC) and stored at warehouse/s of the importer or consignee registered/accredited with the SRA. No imported Fructose classified as "C" for Reserved shall be withdrawn from the said SRA registered/accredited warehouse/s of the importer or consignee unless reclassified by SRA either into "B" or for Domestic Market or "D" for World Market.
Section 3.2. If the classification or reclassification is "B" or for Domestic Market or "D" for World Market, the imported Fructose may be withdrawn by the importer or consignee from the BOC or from its warehouse/s registered/accredited with the SRA, as the case may be, for consumption or export.
SECTION 2. Other provisions of the aforesaid Sugar Order No. 3, Series of 2016-2017 shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. Provisions of sugar orders, circular letters, rules and regulations that are contrary to or inconsistent with this Order are hereby amended, modified or revoked accordingly. HTcADC
SECTION 4. This Order shall take effect after Fifteen (15) days from its publication.
