REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9689
AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE SORSOGON SECOND DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE IN THE PROVINCE OF SORSOGON AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways, a second district engineering office in the Second Congressional District of the Province of Sorsogon to be located in the Municipality of Bulan, to be known as the Sorsogon Second District Engineering Office. aEIcHA
SECTION 2. The said district engineering office shall comprise the municipalities of Barcelona, Prieto Diaz, Gubat, Juban, Bulusan, Irosin, Sta. Magdalena, Matnog and Bulan.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of Public Works and Highways shall include in the Department's program the operationalization of the Sorsogon Second District Engineering Office, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
