Republic Act No. 9223 establishes a separate district engineering office in the Second Congressional District of Sulu, specifically located in the Municipality of Luuk. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9223

AN ACT CONSTITUTING THE SECOND CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT OFFICE IN THE PROVINCE OF SULU INTO A SEPARATE DISTRICT ENGINEERING OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There shall be established under the supervision of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) a separate district engineering office in the Second Congressional District, Province of Sulu to be located in the Municipality of Luuk to be known as Sulu Second District Engineering Office.

SECTION 2. The Secretary of the DPWH shall include in its program the funding requirements for the operationalization of the Sulu Second Engineering District in the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. EHcaDT

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
