San Juan National High School in San Juan, Southern Leyte
Republic Act No. 9109, enacted on April 14, 2001, establishes the San Juan National High School in the Municipality of San Juan, Southern Leyte, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports. The Secretary of the Department is tasked with implementing the Act and creating necessary regulations. Funding for the school will be included in the General Appropriations Act for the subsequent year and beyond. The Act takes effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 23, 2001.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9109
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JUAN, PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE TO BE KNOWN AS THE SAN JUAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, a national high school in the Municipality of San Juan, Province of Southern Leyte to be known as the San Juan National High School.
SECTION 2. The Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby directed to take such steps as may be necessary for the immediate implementation of this Act and shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SECTION 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter. DEaCSA
