Revised Upgrading of Schedule of Legal Fees in the Supreme Court and Lower Courts under Rule 141 of the Rules of Court

OCA Circular No. 68-07, issued on July 12, 2007, provides guidance to Clerks of Court regarding the revised schedule of legal fees in the Supreme Court and lower courts under Rule 141 of the Rules of Court. This follows Administrative Circular No. 60-2007, which was meant to implement amendments to Section 1 of Rule 141 effective July 2, 2007. However, a subsequent resolution on July 3, 2007, put the new payment modes on hold until the Office of the Court Administrator submits the necessary implementing guidelines. The circular serves to inform and guide court officials on this temporary abeyance of the revised legal fee schedule.
