Please be informed that pursuant to the Resolution of the Court En Banc dated 1 September 2020 in A.M. No. 20-08-114-RTC (Re: Request of Mario B. Zaragoza for the Refund of Filing Fees Paid in Criminal Case No. C. 507-17 Filed Before Branch 15, Regional Trial Court, Roxas City), docket fees already paid in all cases initially filed before the second level courts, but were eventually transmitted to the first level courts as a result of the implementation of Republic Act No. 10951 (An Act Adjusting the Amount or the Value of Property and Damage on Which a Penalty is Based and the Fines Imposed under the Revised Penal Code, Amending for the Purpose Act No. 3815, Otherwise Known as "The Revised Penal Code," as Amended), shall be considered as sufficient payment of docket fees in the latter courts.
Accordingly, the second level courts shall turn over the records of all affected cases, together with the certified true copies of the related official receipts, to the concerned first level courts. The collected docket fees evidenced by the aforesaid receipts, however, shall not be reported as part of the collections of the concerned first level courts in their monthly financial reports.
