Reserving for the Use of Malangas Coal Corporation a Certain Parcel of Land in Malangas, Zamboanga del Sur

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 528 BY RESERVING THE USE OF THE PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED AT THE MUNICIPALITY OF MALANGAS, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, IN FAVOR OF THE MALANGAS COAL CORPORATION

WHEREAS, the use of the parcel of land described hereunder is reserved in favor of CEPOC Industries, Inc., by Proclamation No. 528;

WHEREAS, the Malangas Coal Corporation is undertaking the exploration, exploitation, development, and utilization of coal mines located at Malangas, Zamboanga del Sur;

WHEREAS, the cessation of operations of CEPOC Industries, Inc., makes the transfer of the use of the parcel of land from CEPOC Industries, Inc., to the Malangas Coal Corporation necessary for the latter's coal operations. casia

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby transfer the use of the parcel of land described hereunder from CEPOC Industries, Inc., to the Malangas Coal Corporation, including a road-right-of-way of 100 meters wide to be determined by said Corporation to enable it to have an exit to Dumanquilas Bay:

"PARCEL — MALANGAS PORT TERMINAL

Beginning a point marked "1" on plan Bsm-44, being N 82 deg. 56 min. W. 825.76 m. more or less, from B.L.B.M. No. 2, Barrio of Kagay, Municipal District of Malangas (now within the municipality of Margosatubig), Zamboanga;

thence S. 73 deg. 20 min. E.  127.42 m. to point 2;

thence S. 15 deg. 01 min. E.  104.12 m. to point 3;

thence S. 55 deg. 09 min. E.  160.29 m. to point 4;

thence N. 37 deg. 00 min. E.  120.00 m. to point 5;

thence S. 21 deg. 07 min. W.  165.73 m. to point 6;

thence N. 71 deg. 31 min. W.  92.48 m. to point 7;

thence N. 44 deg. 48 min. W.  101.91 m. to point 8;

thence N. 35 deg. 42 min. W.  228.90 m. to point 1;

which is the point of beginning, containing an area of 2.3131 hectares."
