Republic Act No. 10050, enacted on March 19, 2010, officially renames the Liloan Bridge in Southern Leyte to Pres. Diosdado P. Macapagal Bridge. The Department of Public Works and Highways is tasked with issuing the necessary guidelines for the implementation of this Act. The law takes effect 15 days after its publication in a widely circulated newspaper.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10050
AN ACT RENAMING THE LILOAN BRIDGE IN THE LONE DISTRICT OF SOUTHERN LEYTE AS PRES. DIOSDADO P. MACAPAGAL BRIDGE
SECTION 1. The Liloan Bridge in the lone district of Southern Leyte shall hereafter be known as Pres. Diosdado P. Macapagal Bridge.
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provision of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation. SIaHDA
