Republic Act No. 10051, enacted on March 19, 2010, officially names the newly constructed bridge in Butuan City as the Pres. Diosdado P. Macapagal Bridge. The Department of Public Works and Highways is tasked with issuing the necessary rules and regulations for the implementation of this Act. It will take effect 15 days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation.

AN ACT NAMING THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BRIDGE IN BUTUAN CITY AS PRES. DIOSDADO P. MACAPAGAL BRIDGE
SECTION 1. The newly constructed bridge in Butuan City is hereby named as Pres. Diosdado P. Macapagal Bridge.
SECTION 2. The Department of Public Works and Highways shall issue the necessary rules, orders and circulars to implement the provision of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation. caSEAH
