Re: 3-Day Work Suspension in the Supreme Court
On January 2, 2022, the Supreme Court of the Philippines issued Memorandum Order No. 2-2022, suspending work from January 3 to 5, 2022, due to multiple positive COVID-19 antigen test results among Court personnel. This suspension allows for comprehensive testing of all Court employees and necessary disinfection of the premises. However, certain personnel involved in the bar examinations and e-filing are required to report on-site. The vaccination scheduled for January 3 and the En Banc session on January 4 will proceed as planned, with strict health protocols in place. Starting January 6, 2022, all personnel must present a negative antigen test result to enter the Court.

SUPREME COURT MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 2-2022
RE: 3-DAY WORK SUSPENSION IN THE SUPREME COURT
Considering the report of the Medical and Dental Services (MDS) that there are many Court personnel who have positive results on antigen testing done from December 27, 2021 to date and that contact tracing conducted reveals then were in close physical contact with other Court employees, upon consultation with Court En Banc, a work suspension from January 3 to 5, 2022 is hereby declared to pave the way for a similar testing of all other Court personnel and for the disinfection of the entire Court premises. Concerned personnel of the Office of the Bar Chair and Office of the Bar Confidant who are involved in the 2020/2021 bar examinations, Office of the Administrative Services (OAS-SC), MDS and Receiving Section of the Judicial Records Office who are involved in e-filing, are still required to report on-site.
The vaccination (booster) on January 3, 2022, as well as the En Banc session on January 4, 2022 shall, however, proceed as scheduled. The OAS-SC shall ensure that the conduct of vaccination shall be done in strict observance of maximum health and safety protocols.
The modified working arrangement under Memorandum Order No. 1-2022 shall accordingly take effect on January 6, 2022. Everyone is mandated to present his/her negative antigen result slip when entering the Court premises on said date.
For strict compliance.
Manila, Philippines, January 2, 2022.
