LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1202

The 1982 World's Fair will be held in Knoxville, Tennessee from May through October, with the theme of "Energy Turns the World." casia
In order to promote the KKK program, Philippine culture and tourism and more importantly, the Philippines' contribution to energy research and development, it is desirable that the Philippines participate in the said Fair.
The minimum total cost of participation is estimated at approximately P8 million, including pavillion construction cost, exhibits and travel costs.
Accordingly, the Treasurer of the Philippines is hereby directed to release P8 million out of the Special Fund created under Sec. 8 (j) of Rep. Act No. 6173 to finance the Philippine's participation in 1982 World's Fair. casia
