ACT NO. 3393
AN ACT TO PENALIZE ABUSES ON PART OF THE ADMINISTRATORS, OR THEIR AGENTS, OF LAND SEIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT FOR DELINQUENCY IN THE PAYMENT OF THE LAND TAX
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any administrator or agent of land seized by the Government for delinquency in the payment of the land tax to strip the abacá, or cause the same to be stripped, in an unusual and wasteful manner, cut tender abacá plants or cause the same to be cut, or neglect to first clean the grove or plantation, as is customary, or pick unripe coconuts or cause the same to be picked for any use or purpose. SECTION 2. Any administrator or agent of land seized by the Government who violates the provisions of this Act shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than two months or a fine of not more than two hundred pesos, or both.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
