ACT NO. 2970
AN ACT AUTHORIZING PROVINCIAL TREASURERS TO ACCEPT REDEMPTIONS OF PROPERTY SEIZED BY THE GOVERNMENT FOR DELINQUENCY IN THE PAYMENT OF THE LAND TAX
SECTION 1. Section three hundred and seventy-seven of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Administrative Code of nineteen hundred and seventeen, is hereby amended by adding, at the end thereof, the following paragraph: cDSAEI
"Subject to such rules of procedure as the Director of Lands may, with the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, promulgate, the provincial treasurer may accept the redemption of any real estate seized and distrained by the Government, upon payment of all taxes and penalties due."
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
