REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8775

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AT PANAY, MUNICIPALITY OF STA. MARCELA, PROVINCE OF APAYAO TO BE KNOWN AS THE MAYOR GUILLERMO BARSATAN MEMORIAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There is hereby established a national high school at Panay, Municipality of Sta. Marcela, Province of Apayao to be known as the Mayor Guillermo Barsatan Memorial School of Arts and Trade.

SECTION 2. The school shall offer secondary education proper as well as undertake other activities to carry out its objectives as may be authorized by the Secretary of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports in coordination with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

SECTION 3. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.

SECTION 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
