REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9419

AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE AMANG RODRIGUEZ MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER FROM ONE HUNDRED FIFTY (150) TO THREE HUNDRED (300) BEDS AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. The authorized bed capacity of the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (ARMMC), a national medical center created through Republic Act No. 8019, is hereby increased from one hundred fifty (150) to three hundred (300) beds with concomitant manpower complement. SAcCIH

SECTION 2. The increase in the bed capacity of the ARMMC from one hundred fifty (150) to three hundred (300) beds shall be implemented for a period of not more than four years from the approval of this Act.

SECTION 3. The Secretary of Health shall include in the Department's program the implementation of the increase in bed capacity of the ARMMC, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. All laws, decrees, rules and regulations inconsistent with this Act shall be deemed amended or repealed accordingly.

SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
