LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1300

| SUBJECT | : | Granting of Reasonable Allowance for the Cost of Research Work, Thesis Writing and Other Incidental Expenses to Participants of the Command and General Staff Course at the AFP Command and General Staff College |
The Armed Forces of the Philippines Command and General Staff College (AFPCGSC) is established to train potential commanders and general staff officers for higher levels of command in the AFP. In pursuance of this objective, the participants of the Command and General Staff Course at the AFPCGSC undergo rigid training and, as a prerequisite to graduation, are required to submit and defend their thesis. In order to ensure the quality of graduates of the course, it is necessary that they be given financial assistance to cover the cost of research work, thesis writing and other incidental expenses.
For this purpose, each participant of the Command and General Staff Course at the AFPCGSC is hereby authorized to receive Research and Thesis Allowance in the amount of Three Thousand Pesos (P3,000.00), chargeable against the appropriations of the AFPCGSC, subject to the availability of funds and to the usual accounting and auditing requirements. acd
