Further Amending LOI No. 911, as Amended by LOI No. 1067, To Include Holders of Taipei Passports
Letter of Instructions No. 1106, dated January 27, 1981, amends previous regulations to include holders of Taipei passports in the same category as those holding Hong Kong British passports, Macao Portuguese passports, and Certificates of Identity. This adjustment recognizes that Taipei passport holders, despite not being recognized as an independent state, should be granted the same immigration privileges for pleasure or business as the other mentioned passport holders. Consequently, their admission to the Philippines will be governed by the existing provisions of LOI No. 911, as amended. This directive is aimed at ensuring compliance with these updated immigration rules.

NOW, THEREFORE, LOI No. 911, as amended, should be, as it is hereby, further amended so as to include within its coverage holders of Taipei passports, whose admission to and stay in the Philippines shall be governed by those provisions of LOI No. 911, as amended by LOI No. 1067, which are applicable to holders of Certificates of Identity.
