Establishment of Sta. Rosa Community Hospital in Olongapo Island, Lapu-Lapu City
Batas Pambansa Blg. 134, enacted on September 12, 1981, establishes the Sta. Rosa Community Hospital in Olongapo City, Lapu-Lapu, with a capacity of ten beds and secondary level healthcare capabilities. The hospital will operate under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services from the Ministry of Health. Funding for its establishment and maintenance will be allocated from the budget designated for new hospitals, as outlined in Presidential Decree No. 1177, and will be included in future annual appropriations. AN ACT ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY HOSPITAL WITH A TEN-BED CAPACITY AND SECONDARY LEVEL CAPABILITY, IN THE ISLAND OF OLONGAPO, CITY OF LAPU-LAPU, TO BE KNOWN AS STA. ROSA COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, Ministry of Health, a community hospital with a ten-bed capacity and with secondary level capability in the Island of Olongapo, City of Lapu-Lapu, to be known as the Sta. Rosa Community Hospital.
SECTION 2. The amount needed for the operation of the hospital shall be determined in accordance with Section 40 of the Presidential Decree No. 1177 and charged to the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 80 for the Ministry of Health, intended for new hospitals. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. The Minister of Health shall determine the manner by which said hospital shall be operationalized. asia dc
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
