Establishment of Mayaoyao Hospital in Ifugao, Mountain Province

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2737

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF MAYAOYAO, SUBPROVINCE OF IFUGAO, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF ONE HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE PURPOSE

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the Bureau of Medical Services, a twenty-five-bed general hospital in the Municipal District of Mayaoyao, Subprovince of Ifugao, Mountain Province, to be known as the Mayaoyao Hospital. The site for the said hospital shall be provided by the Municipal District Council of Mayaoyao in consultation with the Director of Medical Services. aisa dc

SECTION 2. The Secretary of Health shall promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry into effect the purpose of this Act.

SECTION 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment and operation of the said hospital during the fiscal year ending June thirty, nineteen hundred sixty-one. Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
